Weekend activities for the whole family or ideas for romantic time that don't cost a lot.

We have put together some weekend activities for spring, which can both function as weekend activities for the whole family and as a date you can do together.

1. Go on an excursion to one of Denmark's beautiful National Parks.

We have more than you think, and maybe you'll see something you haven't seen before. You can pack a picnic basket and make a big trip out of it. It can easily be done with or without the children. There are also several weekend activities here if you can't do it all in one weekend.

2. Play tourist in your own country and avoid running out of weekend activities.

There may be many things you haven't experienced yet. Visit the forest tower at Camp Adventure or take the children to the LEGO House in Billund. Your children will love you. Or take a walk up Copenhill - it's a must!

3. The big baking competition - or almost maybe...

Bake something together! Find a recipe and have a really nice Sunday afternoon with coffee and afternoon coffee. If you didn't get to bake banana bread during Corona, we have found a recipe for Banana Bread here!

4. Hide and seek with the hidden gems.

Check if there are any hidden gems not far from you. So it's just a nice weekend activity. Make a list of what you want to see and set off into the blue. It can be beautiful churches, museums you haven't visited yet, nature you want to see or abandoned buildings you can go hunting in. Pack your favorite snacks and go exploring.

5. Weekend activities for beach lions and water dogs.

3, 2, 1 and jump in the water! Whether it's a cold trip in the Danish sea and then into the hot sauna or the 5-metre swing in the local swimming pool, it can only be cosy! Here is a list of 157 swimming pools/water parks across the country, if you need a little inspiration.
